Collaborations are a win adidas rom for everybody because two different brands/companies are able to work together to get their name out there and most of the time the quality of the release is better than their inline work. So I expect to see more collaborations than ever in 2016 so everybody can stay winning together.What s better than two of the best rappers/entertainers in the music industry making music? I ll tell you what, two of the best rappers/entertainers making sneakers! Kanye West won the Footwear News  Shoe Of The Year award in 2015 thanks to his adidas Yeezy Boosts and it s hard to pick someone more deserving.

Well, how many OVO 10s did Drake and Jordan put out?) but if Jordan Brand paid any attention to any blog or social media then they know that they re sitting on a gold mine with Drizzy. Just like with Kanye, fans are enamored with Drake so even though his Air Jordan 10 release wasn t anything out of the norm, sneakerheads still adidas tobacco loved it for the simple fact that Drake was attached to it. Imagine what Jordan Brand could do if they used the 1, 3, 4, 5 or 11 silhouette in a collaboration with Drake? Or maybe even give him his own lifestyle silhouette?

Interestingly, last year I named the Adidas Pure Boost as my favorite new model adidas stan smith black and the year before that the Energy Boost . So, yeah, I m a Boost junkie  but you should be too, it blows everything else away.The Yeezy Boost 750 is something of an enigma to me. I can t look at it and see a sneaker really. In fact I ve always said that while at Nike, Kanye had sneakers and now with Adidas he has footwear. It s a shoe that grew on me once I accepted that fact. The suede upper and gray colorway make it a perfect complement to so many outfits.There has already been a lot of speculation as to what brand  won 2015.

Our own adidas adilette Juan Carrillo finds that Jordan Brand is still the reigning champ . Just last week Dan Freebairn of  Kick Posters released his research of  most liked brands on Instagram and as it turns out, adidas ran away with that title. Personally, from strictly an aesthetic perspective, adidas has won the last 2 years. It just so happens they also won our site s official award for Brand of the Year .Indeed we ve seen Nike and Adidas all over the college football and basketball landscape. Our pro leagues are also saturated with those brands, but in 2015, the biggest stars wore Under Armour on the biggest stages. And they won.

The adidas NMD was everywhere in 2016. You saw it on hypebeasts, you saw it on nomads (get it?), you saw it on your grandmother, you saw it everywhere. While the Yeezy may have been a big factor in getting a lot of eyes on adidas it was the NMD and the Ultra Boosts that kept them coming back, because you could actually buy them without too much hassle. Well, you can buy some of them because there was a stretch there where even the most  general release of NMDs was a pain to find, including many of the pairs that you ll find on these lists.
