Warring, 6’5” 252 lbs, started playing football in 2014 as a senior in high school. He played multiple sports, including water polo before trying football. He then walked on at SDSU Russ Grimm Jersey , and made the team. His two best season came in 2017(18 receptions, 248 yards, 3TDs) and 2018(31 receptions, 372 yards, 3TDs).The Redskins have the highest amount of cap dollars invested in the TE position this year. Jordan Reed has never started more than 8 games in a season, or appeared in 14. Vernon Davis is entering his 4th year with the Redskins, and had his worst year with the team last season. Jeremy Sprinkle has been just a guy, and is going into his 3rd year. Reed is the team’s best receiver when he’s on the field, and he’s not likely to go anywhere.
