After a poor showing in their opening Champions League tilt a fortnight ago, a 2-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund, the Gunners made a much better start to proceedings on Wednesday as Alexis Sanchez slid one through to Welbeck in the 22nd minute and the former Manchester United man fired it into the bottom right corner.
