heh i know it was supposed to be funny but heres my real reason for buying new balance. nike sucks. i don't really like seeing tons of nike advertisements. and hearing that X athlete is being paid millions to whore their shoes just pisses me off further. add the fact that many of these shoes end up styled like they were supposed to be worn by spacealien attention whores and well, i'll pick the simple and effective new balance shoes instead.

Oh my god. This is so good. I seriously bought my first pair of shoes to run in without having been recommended any, I bought New Balance. I raved about them (so comfy etc) and when I went back to buy the same pair when those had kind of died, the model I liked weren't being made anymore. So, i shopped around and didn't like any of the other NB so guess what I bought. Asics!! God that made me laugh. And yes, secretly, when I have been running regularly, I do feel better than other folk who don't.

For running, nothing beats New Balance imo. puma us Their shoes come in various widths for better fitting and they usually take years of virtually anything I've thrown at them to finally require replacement. I couldn't care less about x product being made in y country, but Nikes fall apart on my feet within months.

I think white people wear New Balances because the 992 (I think that's what they're on, I switched to Aasics) is one of the few decent looking shoes. It's not a fashion show. It's simply a running shoe that doesn't look like some form of urban day-glo artwork. They're also pretty good running shoes, for marathon training of course.

My first New Balance shoes were purchased in 1998 and they were the 990's. They were made in the U.S. and they did last about 3 years until it fell apart. They were very comfy and rihanna fenty puma they were the most comfortable pair of shoe I owned. My next pair was the 991 which was pictured on this site and they're also made in the U.S. and they only last for about 2 months. After the shoe broke down, they were friggin' unwearable. Then I bought the made in U.S. New Balance 852 and I had to return it because they were uncomfortable and I bought the made in U.S. New Balance 1700 and returned it because they were uncomfortable. It doesn't matter where the New Balance shoes are made U.S. or China. They're all the same.
